Parent Jobs

Each family is required to sign up for Four (4) job shifts during the main swim season, whether it be working at the meets or providing food for the social events.  Families with 2 swimmers are asked to sign up for Eight (8) job shifts, please.

Note: There will be additional sign-ups for the JV, DFAL and NCS meets based on the swimmer’s championship schedule.

We are thrilled to have you a part of the Miramonte swimming family. The MATS SWIM team is one of the largest and most successful high school sports programs in the area and judging from the number of swimmers registered, the team’s storied history will continue in 2012!     
  • An important reminder: Monday, Feb. 6th is the first day of practice. There will be a brief meeting on the deck directly after school before the swimmers get in the pool. All swimmers need to submit their online sports summary form to Vince Dell’Aquila. He will add your swimmer’s name to the swim team roster then he will give the swimmer their form back so she/he can give it to the coaches. The coaches need the forms since it lists the swimmers’ emergency contact info. All swimmers who haven’t played a Fall or Winter sport also need to submit their athletic clearance forms to Vince.   • Have you ordered your Swim Apparel yet? Wednesday, Feb 1st is the last day to order team apparel. The team suit and team warm up jacket are the two required items to purchase. The team tee-shirt and caps are included in your spirit fee. Clothing questions may be directed to Jane Wiser.  Order your gear through MHS Webstore .
  • Please remember to pay your $125 spirit fee.  The Spirit fee pays for Team Dinners, Meet Supplies, Meet entry fees, Travel Expenses, Awards, Team Parties etc.  Spirit Fees are paid through the  Webstore.
  • Did you get a handbook? If you didn’t pick up the team handbook last week, Coach Brad Allen will be distributing the rest on Monday. Please take a few minutes to read the handbook because it contains a lot of important information you will need to know. You will actually learn something!
  • You may want to bookmark our website, www.miramonteswimming.org, as it posts updated team information as well as meet results once competition begins.
  • Last chance to update your Swimmer’s Team Roster contact info with the link below: Please let us know if your swimmer is M.I.A. on our roster so that we may add her/him.  Go to our January 31st swim team email to print a copy of the roster for your records.   (This is a public domain … so we did not want to publish the link here.)
  • Heads Up~ Parents will have the opportunity to sign up for meet and food shifts via google docs the second week of February after we have somewhat settled into the season. :-)
